# Alterim AI Beta Test

Alterim AI’s Beta phase marks the beginning of open access to our AI companion platform, following the successful completion of our Closed Beta Test (CBT).

Users can now create AI companions by connecting any supported Berachain NFT — or, if they don’t have one, minting an Alterim SBT (Soulbound Token) as the base.

Once minted, users can interact with their companions across various game modes and interfaces, farming in-app points through daily chat and meme generation. These points will be tied to future rewards, including $ATRM airdrops.

### 🧩 What is an SBT and its Role?

The **Alterim SBT (Soulbound Token)** is a non-transferable NFT that allows users to mint and own AI Companions — even if they don’t hold any Berachain NFTs.

* It acts as a **foundational identity layer** for users in the Alterim AI ecosystem
* If you don't hold a supported NFT, you can **mint an SBT for free** to get started instantly
* The SBT is linked to your wallet and enables Companion creation, interaction tracking, and persona ownership

👉 You can mint your free SBT here: [**sbt.alterim.ai**](https://sbt.alterim.ai)

No NFTs? No problem — the SBT ensures **anyone can begin their Alterim journey.**

### 🥇 CBT Participation Benefits

Users who minted Companions during the CBT phase (before **June 6th, 2025, 13:00 UTC**) are recognized as early adopters and enjoy **exclusive benefits**:

#### 🎁 1. Genesis NFT Whitelist

CBT users who successfully minted a Companion are eligible to claim the **Alterim Genesis NFT**, a limited-edition collectible that marks early participation.\
Genesis NFTs will unlock future benefits in the Alterim ecosystem, such as access, prestige, or feature utility.

#### 💸 2. Farming Bonus Multipliers

$ATRM Points earned during Public Beta will be **boosted** for CBT minters:

* **1.5x multiplier** for free FCFS minters
* **2x multiplier** for paid minters (12 $BERA)

#### 🔄 3. Auto-Recharging Quota

CBT users continue to receive **automatically recharged daily interaction quotas** for chatting and meme generation.

In contrast, Public Beta users receive a **one-time interaction quota**.\
After it is consumed, users must wait for the **quota recharge system** launching **mid-June** to continue interacting with their Companion.
